Shipping Policy

At Rushby Industries (RI), we are committed to providing reliable and efficient shipping options for our customers, both locally and internationally. All shipments are dispatched from Cape Town, South Africa, and we aim to prepare and ship your order within 1–2 business days of receiving payment, unless otherwise communicated.

Local Shipping (South Africa)

• Local deliveries generally take 3–4 business days.

• Once your parcel has left RI, delivery times are beyond our control, and we cannot guarantee exact arrival dates. You will receive a tracking number to monitor your shipment’s progress.

International Shipping

• For international orders, delivery typically takes 5–7 business days, depending on the destination and courier service.

• Once your parcel is handed over to the courier, RI no longer has control over transit times or customs clearance.

Please note:

• Import duties and taxes may apply in your country. These are the responsibility of the customer. US customers please read the US section of this agreement.

• It is the customer’s responsibility to track the shipment and provide any additional information required by the courier or customs authorities.

• RI will not issue refunds if a package fails to clear customs or is returned to South Africa.

Customs & Import Regulations

• It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that all RI products comply with local import laws and regulations before placing an order.

• RI will not be held responsible for:

  • Seized or confiscated items by customs authorities.

  • Any legal or import violations.

  • Misrepresentation of product type or value (RI will always declare goods truthfully).

Important Notice for U.S. Customers

• Please note that the de minimis exemption for imports into the United States has been suspended.

• As a result, all imports are now subject to tax and duties, regardless of value.

• All applicable surcharges are calculated during checkout, and the shipping cost already includes the $17 duty and tax processing fee. This ensures there are no hidden surprises.

• If your area is prone to package theft (“porch pirates”), we strongly recommend selecting the signature-on-delivery option. Alternatively, once you receive the tracking email, you can request that your parcel be held at the nearest depot for collection. Unfortunately, RI cannot be held responsible for theft after delivery has occurred.

European Shipping

• RI no longer ships to parts of Europe.
